Opportunity at a Glance
The Recruiting Specialist plays a key role in supporting the talent acquisition process by managing essential aspects of recruitment to attract and hire top-tier talent. Working closely with senior team members and hiring managers, this role ensures a seamless and positive candidate experience while aligning hiring efforts with business needs. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define hiring objectives and develop recruitment strategies that meet business goals
- Prepare and manage job requisitions, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained
- Source and identify candidates who align with both role requirements and organizational culture, contributing to long-term success and retention
- Participate in recruitment projects and recommend process improvements to enhance candidate attraction and engagement
- Post job openings to internal and external platforms, ensuring postings are accurate, inclusive, and free of bias
- Manage applicant communications and ensure timely follow-up with all candidates
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Conduct candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and promote Adtalem as an employer of choice
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and standards
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field -Required
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant business experience in a fast-paced environment with significant customer interaction -Required
- Preferred Background: Prior administrative experience or internships in HR or recruiting is a plus

- Adaptability: Flexible and responsive to changing priorities, job requirements, and recruitment strategies
- Decision-Making: Able to make sound, timely decisions based on established hiring criteria
Additional Information
In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $49,199.33 and $88,841.36. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
