As aManager, General Facilities, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing Maximo, GxP documentation for facilities, and third-party soft services such as security, cafeteria, pest control, and more. You will also lead space management, cleanliness of the facility, remote parking, key assignment and control, and financial oversight for soft services in our Houston, TX facility.

In this role, a typical day will include:

  • Managing custodial operations to ensure high service levels, responsiveness, and continuous improvement.
  • Supervising high-level maintenance mechanics supporting critical utilities, processes, and equipment.
  • Overseeing third-party soft services including security, cafeteria, pest control, landscaping, and space management.
  • Supporting and managing Maximo (CMMS) and ensuring compliance with related SOPs.
  • Managing GxP documentation such as work orders, pest control logs, and regulatory permits.
  • Providing technical support for process and utility systems and recommending improvements.
  • Managing soft service budgets and ensuring financial control.
  • Coordinating facility modifications and installations across multiple shifts and off-hours.
  • Operating and managing A/V systems for the facility.
  • Acting as the facilities representative for NFCM and IGM.
  • Ensuring compliance with GMPs, SOPs, GDPs, OSHA, EPA, and local/state ordinances.

Key Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school +13 yrs; Assoc.+9 yrs; M.S.)
  • The ability to fluently read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
  • 5 Years of Relevant Experience
  • 3 years of Demonstrated Leadership

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience managing facility soft services and CMMS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of GxP documentation and regulatory compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and shifts.
  • Familiarity with FDA, ISO, OSHA, and EPA regulations.
  • Technical learning agility and proactive problem-solving mindset.
