Local CDL B Route Driver

Location:

Compensation:

• Rate of Pay: Starting at $24.00/hr

• Overtime after 40 hours/ week (Double time for work performed on Sundays and Holidays)

• Safety Bonus- Varies

• Referral Bonus Pay- $1000

• Paid weekly via direct deposit

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Daily (Monday-Thursday) -Some Saturday work available

• Early Morning Start Time depending on route(3 a.m.- 5 a.m.)

• Average 40+ hours per week

• Up to 250 miles per day

• No Layovers/ No over nights

• 8-12 Stops per day

Equipment:

• Straight Truck w/ Lift Gate, Pallet Jack, Fork Lift, and Hand Truck

• Well Maintained Up-to Date Equipment

Note: Drivers load own truck, Delivering to grocery stores, universities, labs, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at LEAST 21 year of age

• Class A or B CDL driver's license

• Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) expectations:

• No accidents in the last three years.

• No DUI in the last seven years.

• No more than 2 minor moving violations in the last three years.

• No serious violations in the last three years (reckless driving, speeding 15+).

• No suspensions in the last three years, except for failure to pay child support.

• One year experience driving a commercial vehicle or diploma from an accredited truck driving school required within the last four years.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.

• Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.

Safety Matters:

• Drive Cam in trucks.

• No electronics/Bluetooth allowed.

• Zero tolerance for cell and electronic devices while driving an Airgas CMV.

• Airgas operates a modern and efficient fleet.

• Most vehicles are under 6 years old and equipped with driver-friendly technology, such as On Board Computers, collision avoidance technology, latest camera technology and GPS navigation.
