DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Services Analyst, you will perform administrative and managerial work in the Quality Assurance Division and be responsible for all aspects of quality assurance activities ensuring agreement compliance. You will detect program fraud and abuse, monitor Managed Care Organization (MCO) enrollment practices, and review monthly, quarterly and annual reports submitted by MCOs. This role requires the ability to make independent decisions regarding multiple aspects of the CHIP program based on legislation, regulations, policies, procedures, and contractual obligations. In addition, you will review program breeches for possible legal implications, develop corrective action plans, and perform trend analyses.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, working a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs; and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of professional experience developing, implementing, or evaluating human services, social services, health care services, or health care insurance programs.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.
