Terminal/Warehouse/Transport DSV - Global transport and logistics Location: USA - Invista, Lugoff (Highway 1 South) Division:Solutions Maintenance - Site Services - General Contract Labor (GCL) SUMMARY To perform various plant service duties throughout the INVISTA facility including but not limited to lawn care, painting, cutting recycle strapping, transporting cardboard to baler and operating a forklift, pallet jack and dumpster truck. . ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform various duties as required/needed by site. Some examples are but are not limited to the following: Moving materials with MME Cutting recycle strapping Pick up recycle material throughout facility(aluminum cans, plastics, etc.) and lag for shipment Cutting grass Operating a weed eater Operating pallet jack Baling cardboard Painting Operating a Dumpster Truck Operating a golf cart Furniture moving Re-lamping Picking up trash Use hand tools Operate power tools Pick up trash around the INVISTA facility including the parking lot, grounds, etc. and empty all outside garbage cans (golf cart will be used to travel around facility) Forklift operation Pressure washing Cleaning evaporators Duct cleaning Fire Watch Diffuser cleaning General housekeeping OTHER DUTIES Perform various other duties throughout the INVISTA facility as needed to meet business demands. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES N/A MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or GED Valid Driver's license SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Computer Skills Must have general computer skills Language Skills English (reading, writing, verbal) Mathematical Skills Intermediate Other N/A PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working in or around a manufacturing environment Previous experience operating a pallet jack, forklift, & dumpster truck PHYSICAL DEMANDS Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting (50lbs), walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight (8) hours a day Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations including wearing personal protective equipment Willing and able to work up to an eight (8) hour shift to include, weekend & holiday hours Must be able to work at heightened levels Must be able to climb ladders Must be able to operate equipment listed in Essential Duties and Responsibilities Must be able to wear all the proper PPE required for tasks performed. Willing and able to walk for extended periods of time inside and outside of a large manufacturing facility While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision and must be able to distinguish between colors.
