Position Overview The Senior Associate, Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will play an integral role in supporting the strategic people agenda for the Agency organization at New York Life. Working in close collaboration with Senior HR Business Partners and Agency leadership, this individual will contribute to the delivery of key talent initiatives, people analytics, and core HR programs that drive organizational effectiveness and employee engagement. The ideal candidate will bring a solid HR foundation, data curiosity, and an eagerness to grow in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. What You'll Do: Core HR Program Delivery * Provide ongoing operational and strategic support across key HR initiatives, including promotions, performance management, talent development, organizational design, and compensation planning. * Assist in the planning and coordination of cyclical HR processes in alignment with enterprise and Agency-specific priorities. * Support execution of talent reviews, succession planning, and development planning efforts in partnership with HRBP leadership. Data & Insights * Prepare workforce data reports and dashboards that support organizational planning and decision-making. * Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with the HR Analytics team to inform recommendations and business solutions. Employee Support & Experience * Serve as a key point of contact for employee and manager inquiries, providing accurate and timely guidance on HR policies, tools, and resources. * Partner with key stakeholders to ensure consistent and equitable application of HR policies and procedures. Collaboration with Centers of Excellence (COEs) * Interface with internal HR COEs, including Compensation, Employee Relations, Talent Management, and HR Operations, to deliver integrated, solutions-oriented support to Agency clients. * Coordinate with cross-functional teams on special projects. Process Improvement & Innovation * Identify opportunities to enhance the efficiency, quality, or consistency of HR processes and recurring deliverables. * Contribute to the implementation of technology-enabled solutions, including tools that incorporate AI, to improve HR service delivery. What You'll Bring: * Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. * Minimum of 2-4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, ideally within a generalist, HRBP, or client-facing capacity. * Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. * Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to interpret and synthesize workforce data to support recommendations. * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and build trust with stakeholders. * Demonstrated initiative, discretion, and sound judgment in navigating complex and confidential situations. * Interest in leveraging technology and innovative practices to enhance HR effectiveness. Pay Transparency Salary Range:$77,500-$101,00 Overtime eligible:Exempt Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes Sales bonus eligible:No Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
