Summary
As a Billing Coordinator II with Johns Hopkins Home Care Group, you will be responsible for managing the complete billing cycle from claim preparation through electronic submission for our home health services. You'll work at an advanced level to process primary, secondary, and tertiary insurance claims while resolving complex billing edits, electronic rejections, and compliance issues that prevent timely claim processing. Working independently, you'll ensure accurate coding, proper authorization verification, and adherence to payer-specific requirements to maximize reimbursement. As a senior team member, you'll also mentor other billing staff and serve as a go-to resource for complex billing challenges. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
