Minimum Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline; or an equivelent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education:
Program Knowledge, Information/Records Administration, Office Technology, Problem-solving, Verbal/Interpersonal Skills, Written Communication, Budgeting, Work Coordination, Experience working with Microsoft programs such as excel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Serving as the face of the departments within the personnel team, the Department Coordinator for Economics & Finance acts as a liaison between college-level staff, administration, and department faculty, fulfilling the needs of Department Chairs, faculty, students, vendors, business connections, guest and visiting faculty, and College personnel. This position works closely with the Belk College Finance Team and will be collaborating with them regarding Departmental financial needs.
