Investment Content Team

This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), hybrid contract role located in Los Angeles, CA (onsite Monday - Thursday).

Ideal start date of September 8th, 2025

Summary

We are seeking a self-starting financial writer with deep expertise in equity markets, portfolio construction, and asset management. In this role, you will distill complex quantitative and qualitative financial concepts into clear, coherent, and engaging narratives for a sophisticated audience. You will work across multiple channels-digital properties, white papers, conference presentations, and pitch books-while ensuring content accuracy, brand alignment, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Our Ideal Candidate




  • 2-3 years of financial writing experience



  • Passion for investments and analytics with a strong foundation in equity fundamentals and portfolio management concepts



  • Proven ability to synthesize complex ideas into concise, compelling content that supports a clear narrative



  • Skilled at sourcing, analyzing, and manipulating data (Excel and other formats) to create persuasive proof points



  • Familiar with developing content across digital, print, and presentation formats



  • Comfortable conducting interviews with senior business leaders and investment professionals



  • Skilled in collaborating with marketing, design, and cross-functional teams on campaigns and initiatives



  • Able to work independently on recurring assignments and collaboratively on complex projects



  • Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders



  • Strong written and verbal communication, grammar, and presentation skills with exceptional attention to detail



  • Highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines



  • Demonstrates sound judgment when resolving moderately complex matters




Job Description

In this role, you will research, write, and edit original content that supports investment marketing and communication goals. You'll partner with marketing, investment teams, and other business groups to develop content for sophisticated audiences, including market reports, portfolio analyses, topical articles, and marketing collateral.

You will:




  • Update existing communication materials (print, email, presentation, or web) with current tone, statistics, and timeframes



  • Execute core content deliverables for both print and digital channels



  • Research statistical, product, audience, and industry data using online resources, databases, and internal research tools



  • Synthesize input from diverse perspectives into unified, accurate content



  • Manage writing projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality output



  • Act as the primary point of contact for reviewers during content review cycles



  • Collaborate with designers to develop layouts and visual concepts



  • Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and internal initiatives




Education and Experience




  • Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, business administration, or related field required



  • MBA or CFA (or CFA candidate) strongly preferred



  • Background in financial services, investments, or asset management content creation

This opportunity is located in Los Angeles, CA and requires hybrid work (Tues/Wed/Thurs onsite to start; Mon-Thurs onsite beginning 9/8/25).

The pay for this W-2 position ranges from $72.00 - $75.00 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length-of-service and hours-worked requirements.
