- Estimated annual base pay: $85,000(minimum) - $110,000(midpoint) - $136,000(maximum)

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising tax compliance: A Senior Tax Specialist in Finance is responsible for preparing and reviewing complex tax workpapers and filings, including improving and optimizing tax compliance and provision processes.
- Supporting compliance with tax laws and regulations: A Senior Tax Specialist in Finance has an intermediate understanding of tax laws and regulations, and prepares and reviews workpapers to document and support tax compliance and tax provision reporting obligations.
- Engaging in tax research, analysis, and training: A Senior Tax Specialist in Finance is responsible for conducting and reviewing basic tax research and analysis to identify tax planning opportunities and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, including staying current with changes in tax laws and regulations through purposeful continuing education.
- Assisting with Tax audits: A Senior Tax Specialist in Finance is responsible for supporting tax audit responses through detailed analysis and recommendations.
- Providing tax advice and guidance: A Senior Tax Specialist in Finance is responsible for supporting, conducting, and effectively communicating tax advice and guidance to other functional areas of the organization.
Key Skills:
- Intermediate knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures, including an understanding of tax research tools, techniques, and principles.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, including the ability to analyze prior workpapers to accurately produce workpapers for review. Solid analytical, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills.
- Intermediate understanding of financial accounting and reporting, including financial reporting requirements.
- Effective written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, including documentation and communication of review notes and analysis.
- Strong proficiency in relevant tax software and tools with a continuous improvement mindset and ability to teach tax technology skillsets to other team members. Requires heavy data analysis and interpretation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team prioritizing work for self and others.
- Developed self-check and other controls into new and existing tax workpapers to ensure accuracy of workpapers and calculations.
- Strong knowledge of and ability to implement continuous process improvement and automation tools and techniques.
- Solid business knowledge to apply tax laws to our business facts.
- Ability to learn and apply tax laws accurately to estimate the impact of changing tax laws and regulations to our facts.
