Shop Hand

Are you ready to put your mechanical skills to work? Staffmark is seeking experienced Shop Hands to clean and maintain oilfield rental equipment. This hands-on role involves pressure washing, scraping, painting, and working with pipe tools, along with general knowledge of rigging and rigging tools. Previous mechanical experience is required, and applicants must be able to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and prepare oilfield rental equipment (pressure washing, scraping, painting).
• Work with pipe tools and perform general rigging tasks.
• Load and unload trucks and operate an overhead crane safely.
• Follow training instructions and comply with safety procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with team members.
• Be available for on-call duty 24/7 and work a minimum 12-hour day as required.
• Maintain punctuality and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience required.
• Forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow English instructions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to lift at least 60 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.

Pay: $16.00/hour

Shift: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM (some weekends may be required, overtime possible)
