Talent Acquisition Coordinator Description:

Our overall objective within recruiting is to seek, find, evaluate, and present quality candidates to meet Penn Mar standards and the hiring manager's expectations while navigating a highly competitive market.

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will support Penn-Mar's recruitment team in a primarily administrative capacity, assisting with tasks related to new hire onboarding, interview scheduling, and as-needed support at various stages of the life cycle recruiting process. The role requires the individual to be a hands-on self-starter who can provide administrative recruiting support across a variety of administrative duties on the talent acquisition team.

Penn-Mar Provides:



  • Starting Pay of $22 - $24 per hour (dependent on experience, education and relevant skills)
  • Hybrid/remote work flexibility (in-person work required at our Freeland, MD and New Freedom, PA locations)

Responsibilities:



  • Onboarding (60%)

    • Initiate, track, and ensure completion of pre-boarding process by all new hires, including:

      • Background screenings
      • Medical screenings
      • Verify I-9 documents, educational credentials


    • Communicate with internal teams to maintain alignment on incoming new hires
    • Completion of new hire folders


  • Life cycle recruitment support (30%)

    • Maintain job board
    • Create candidate pipelines
    • Schedule interviews
    • Send follow up communication to candidates and internal teams


  • Other duties as assigned (10%)


Basic Requirements:



  • Associate's degree in a relevant field, Bachelor's a plus
  • 1-2 years of administrative work experience
  • Basic tech literacy - experience with Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize between several varying, competing responsibilities
  • Problem solving skills: ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Collaborative, resilient, and result-oriented mindset desired
