Detailed Description:
- Maintain inventory accuracy, perform cycle counts and print inventory reports In MSD Shared Files / Oracle
- Examine shipment contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy
- Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes
- Package and prepare materials for shipments and arrange or issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials
- Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock
- May be required to manage the process of unloading and loading trailers, picking up, packing, and shipping stock, tracking, and counting material and placing materials in proper locations
- Utilize the established tools, equipment and technologies required to initiate or complete transactions related to in and outbound processes within the warehouse in Oracle
- Maintain a well-organized and clean work environment
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed in accordance with established regulations
- e.g. OSHA, PPE, etc.
- Other various tasks as required
- Assist with all Physical Inventory Counting and audits (including Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Inventories)
- Proper packing, labeling, and tagging of parts before putting away inventory to prevent misidentification and damage to parts
- Deliver or route materials to departments using hand truck, forklifts, or sorting bins
- Complete daily forklift inspection checklist. Maintain and service warehouse equipment like forklift, trucks, and any other company equipment.
- Driving forklifts, including narrow aisle reach
Job Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift and carry 50 pounds independently
- Ability to communicate effectively with department representatives and management, both verbally and in writing
- Able to work effectively with others in a team-based environment to accomplish company goals and to identify and resolve shipping and receiving issues
- Ability to operate hydraulic lift trucks, forklift, and other material handling equipment
- Must train new employees in all areas of the inventory department
- Must be very detailed oriented and thorough
- Clear vision to judge near and far distances to maintain awareness of, watch, and report ongoing work activities to coworkers and third parties
- Moderate use of a variety of hand and power tools to demonstrate a range of mechanically oriented functions
- Ability to work on weekends and be on call after hours
- Ability to cross train within all areas of the inventory department (Assets / Physical Inventory)
- Demonstrate clear communication skills and ability to promptly give, and follow, directions when working with others
- Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all designated times

Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must live within a 1 hour driving distance to the yard
Preferred Qualifications
- Forklift Certification
- Knowledge and experience in warehousing and inventory management
- Previous Mud Motor inventory or shop experience
- MSD Asset Validation Experience
- Travel to other districts as needed
Additional Details: This position requires the person to work in both an office and remanufacture warehouse facility environment. The Warehouse Assistance must work with an emphasis on safety for themselves and others including coworkers and third parties. Also, must be able to work closely with others and under deadlines including time-sensitive response situations and be willing to work extended schedules that will include working days, and occasionally nights, weekends, and holidays.
