TEK Systems: Service Technician Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining access control systems and CCTV surveillance equipment in commercial buildings. You'll work closely with project managers and clients to ensure systems are installed to specification and operate reliably. Key Responsibilities: * Install, configure, and service access control and CCTV systems in commercial environments. * Perform routine maintenance and emergency repairs. * Diagnose and resolve technical issues with hardware and software. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. * Ensure compliance with safety standards and company protocols. * Provide excellent customer service and support during and after installations. * Document work performed and maintain accurate service records. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred. * 2+ years of experience in electronic security systems installation and service. * Strong knowledge of access control systems (e.g., Softwarehouse Lenel, HID, Brivo) and CCTV platforms (e.g., Axis, Avigilon, Milestone). * Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. * Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. * Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
