The Role:
A marketing manager develops and executes strategies to promote products or services, manages marketing teams, analyzes campaign performance and coordinates efforts across departments to drive brand awareness and customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
* Develops, maintains a Service Culture that ensures the delivery of Superior internal/external guest service by all team members.
* Support the development, strategy and execution of all marketing initiatives.
* Reviewing current marketing campaigns for weaknesses and developing solutions within budget constraints.
* Brainstorming advertising and marketing ideas with senior management
* Work closely with advertising or sales team members to ensure marketing campaigns align with product launches and consumer needs.
* Plan and execute brand events or product launches as part of marketing campaigns.
* Assist in the development of a 1-5-year strategic marketing plan.
* Direct the creation and execution of print, electronic media, outdoor, direct mail, and web advertising.
* Development and implementation of strategies to increase casino revenue.
* Oversee the development and on-going implementation of casino website.
* Assist in the creation of special events, promotions, and casino giveaways.
* Writes promotion and special event rules and ensures implementation occurs as designed.
* Actively volunteer in service to the community.
* Ensure all guest problems and concerns are addressed by exceeding the guests' expectations for resolution.
* Maintain strong customer service skills.
* Maintain a complete understanding of the Player's Club.
* Perform public address announcements as required.
* Ability to communicate with all departments.
* Ensures the department adheres to all regulatory, departmental and company policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of all promotions and events.
* All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must be 21 years of age or older
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Illinois Gaming Board
* Minimum five years of prior experience in casino marketing, with prior management experience.
* A degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or similar field is preferred or equivalent of education and experience.
* Must be creative and innovative in the development of special events, promotions and strategies.
* Ability to lead by setting a professional example and mentoring skills.
* High-level public relations and customer service skills are required
* Excellent written, analytical and verbal communications skills are required
* Must have open work availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
