POSITION SUMMARY:

Sugarbush Resort is hiring a Retail Supervisor to join our team! The Retail Supervisor is responsible for all daily functions needed to operate the retail stores, including supervising retail personnel, inventory handling and stock organization. This is a full-time seasonal position with a starting pay at $22/hour.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create a "team" atmosphere within the store(s) and assists with staff development and training.
  • Implement operational procedures as outlined by the Retail Manager.
  • Thoroughly understand and exercise the duties and procedures required of Sales Associates.
  • Ensure correct sales procedures are taught.
  • Knowledgeable of store merchandise.
  • Complete the daily duty rosters.
  • Complete the financial daily/weekly/monthly tasks and duties.
  • Assist in the hiring, training, and conduct of store personnel.
  • Ensure that stores are adequately stocked.
  • Responsible for ensuring service standards and sales projections are achieved.
  • Willing to work in each retail store at facility as needed.
  • Maintains high customer service standards.
  • Receive goods and maintain the inventory control system for each store.
  • Assist with the semi-annual physical inventory.
  • Support store profitability by achieving sales goals and costs controls.
  • Open & Close the shop facilities.
  • Understand and perform all the duties and requirements of a Sales Associate.


QUALIFICATIONS :
  • College education and two to three years' experience in ski retail operations, preferably in a major ski resort setting.
  • Excellent customer service skills required.
  • Ability to meet federal, state, and local requirements for employment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to pass a federal and state background check.
