The Senior Project Manager must plan, execute, deliver, implement, and close Healthcare IT and Imaging projects according to strict deadlines, constrained resources, and within budget. This includes scheduling resources and coordinating the efforts of team members, third-party vendors, and customer resources in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior Project Manager will also define the project's objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle, ensuring visibility and transparency into project progress.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:




  • Most decisions involve the scheduling of project resources and prioritizing tasks. Certain tasks must be performed sequentially and coordinating the resources must be prioritized. Consideration must be taken for cost/expenses and potential impact to other projects. In addition, the need for customer resources, IT personnel, and modality vendors must be evaluated when planning the project.
  • Create and execute project work plans in accordance with the project's Statement of Work (SOW) and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • Identify and schedule internal and external resources to meet project plan objectives.
  • Manage activities of Project Team members, ensuring completion of assigned tasks in accordance with schedule, resources, cost, performance, and quality objectives.
  • Meet and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to effectively communicate project expectations in a timely and clear manner.
  • Efficiently identify and solve project issues as they arise in a proactive manner.
  • Identify and manage project dependencies and the critical path.
  • Ensure all Agfa Healthcare quality documents required for the project's deployment type are accurately completed, signed and posted.
  • Meet on-time commitments for the project's Service Acceptance and Final Acceptance.



Education:




  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, MIS, Computer Science, Healthcare or related field
  • MBA, MPA, MHA or related Master's degree is preferred.



Certifications:




  • PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required OR PMI PgMP, PMI Agile, or PRINCE2 Certification.



Experience:



  • 5+ years project management experience with 3+ years in healthcare IT project management
  • Successfully deployed complete Healthcare IT systems and RIS or Cardiology suite
  • Change Management know-how, C-Suite expertise, and Executive management skills
  • Experience translating an SOW into an actionable plan
  • Experience leading conversations with steering committees.
  • Remote Position.
  • Travel is required.
  • Occasional evening and weekend activities may be required to meet project deliverables.
