Job Description:

Ryan Companies is seeking a Director of Client Solutions to drive growth and client success in our construction business (with a focus on industrial). This leadership role is ideal for a seasoned construction professional with a strong technical background in industrial building execution. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position requires deep construction knowledge, a passion for quality and service, and the ability to translate client needs into actionable construction solutions.

You'll be at the forefront of client engagement-building relationships, identifying and winning business with strategic clients, servicing existing key account relationships, and ensuring that every interaction reflects Ryan's commitment to excellence.

Some things you can expect to do:

  • Strategize and execute business development efforts to grow Ryan's presence in the industrial construction market (e.g. fulfillment, manufacturing, food and beverage, and cold storage,).

  • Identify, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with users of industrial real estate, and developers in the Great Lakes Region. Serve as a trusted construction advisor.

  • Work with Preconstruction, Construction, Marketing, and Development teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions that align with client goals, timelines, and budgets.

  • Represent and manage the Ryan business model-promoting design-build efficiencies, innovation, safety, and customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Track market trends, competitor strategies, and customer needs to proactively pursue opportunities and position Ryan as a partner of choice.

  • Lead client interviews and proposal presentations with clarity and confidence, leveraging your construction expertise to differentiate Ryan.

  • Deep knowledge of industrial construction.

  • Passion for engaging in industry events and raising brand awareness in our market and amongst key organizations and groups.

  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.

  • Adept at navigating complex negotiations and aligning cross-functional teams with client objectives.

  • Viewed as a thought leader and peer by senior construction professionals and clients alike.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience delivering industrial construction projects; preferably includes time as a project executive or senior project manager.

  • Proven track record in business development, winning work, and client relationship management in the construction or industrial real estate sector.

  • Demonstrated success in negotiating construction contracts and managing preconstruction strategies.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical solutions to diverse stakeholders.

  • Willingness to travel as needed to pursue client opportunities and support project engagement.

  • LEED AP or similar professional credentials is a plus.

Eligibility:
