Position Overview

The Manager, Regulatory Pricer Product, is responsible for overseeing the development, management, and optimization of a diverse portfolio of Medicare and Medicaid products. This role involves working cross-functionally with various teams to ensure that products meet market needs, align with the company's strategic goals, and deliver exceptional value to customers. The ideal candidate will have a broad understanding of federal and state regulation and healthcare product management principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple products simultaneously.

What you'll do:

  • Implement product strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new products and enhancements to existing products.

  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch and ongoing optimization.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to ensure successful product development and delivery.

  • Develop and maintain detailed product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.

  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and usage data to inform product decisions.

  • Conduct user testing and gather insights to improve product usability and customer satisfaction.

  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions are customer-centric and data-driven.

  • Monitor product performance using key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics.

  • Prepare and deliver regular reports on product performance, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Use data and analytics to make informed decisions and drive continuous product improvement.

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers and specialists, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

  • Identify training and development needs and implement programs to enhance team capabilities.

  • Communicate product vision, strategy, and progress to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and support for product initiatives.

  • Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams.

What you'll bring to Zelis:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent Managed Care experience. (Master's degree preferred).

  • Minimum of 4-8 + years of experience in healthcare product management, with a proven track record of successfully managing multiple products.

  • Must have experience with healthcare, Medicare & Medicaid, claims reimbursement and federal and state regulations.

  • Experience managing healthcare products, people, or project.

  • Proficiency in using product management software and tools (e.g., JIRA, Aha!, Trello).

  • Strong understanding of product management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to devise planning and work allocation as well as develop key performance metrics.

  • Experience in leading and developing a team of product managers and specialists.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

We have offices in Atlanta GA, Boston MA, Morristown NJ, Plano TX, St. Louis MO, St. Petersburg FL, and Hyderabad, India. We foster a hybrid and remote friendly culture, and all our employee's work locations are based on the needs of the position and determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities, if applicable, vary based on the work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

Base Salary Range

$115,000.00 - $153,000.00

At Zelis we are committed to providing fair and equitable compensation packages. The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
