About the Role

The Account Director, Specialty Pharmacy - Dermatology will serve as a field-based leader responsible for managing key relationships within Incyte's Opzelura Enhanced Services Network. This role ensures efficient patient access, optimal channel performance, and operational excellence across assigned specialty pharmacy (SP) accounts.

In addition to managing contractual and service-level obligations, this position requires strong data analytics capabilities and operations management acumen to assess specialty pharmacy services and pull-through effectiveness. You will work cross-functionally to align internal priorities with external execution and ensure high service levels for patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and cultivate business relationships with assigned specialty pharmacy accounts across the Opzelura Enhanced Services Network.
  • Serve as an operational contact for external SP partners, representing Incyte Dermatology portfolio.
  • Ensure alignment of SP activities with brand strategies and field team priorities (Market Access, Sales, Patient Services, Training, etc.).
  • Oversee daily distribution operations to ensure uninterrupted product access.
  • Address and resolve SP distribution issues in coordination with internal stakeholders and wholesalers.
  • Manage SP contracts, including services, rebates, and data use agreements, and ensure operational and service activities are followed.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and amendments in collaboration with legal, compliance, and trade functions.
  • Maintain and improve dashboards and scorecards to track KPIs such as conversion rates, time to fill, persistency, and inventory levels.
  • Use analytics to evaluate performance, identify gaps, and recommend action plans to optimize SP engagement and patient access.
  • Create and collaborate internally to initiate any specialty pharmacy programs that increase adherence and conversion.
  • Track, problem solve and analyze contracted product performance and communicate account performance broadly with key stakeholders.
  • Deliver regular insights and performance summaries to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Act as an internal quarterback, coordinating with Patient Services, Marketing, Sales, Contract Operations, Data Management, and Compliance to ensure seamless support for SP partners.
  • Participate in SP QBR business reviews, internal planning meetings, and national/international conferences.
  • Develop cross-functional working groups to evaluate SP effectiveness and implement operational enhancements.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree (Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA, PharmD) preferred.

Experience

  • Multiple years of experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical channel operations, market access, or pharma account management.
  • Strong background in dermatology, immunology, or specialty therapeutics preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven expertise in specialty pharmacy contracting, performance management, and patient access programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret data and turn insights into strategic action.
  • High-level communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong project and operations management experience.
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare reimbursement models (Commercial, Medicare Part B/D, Medicaid).
  • Experience with tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics platforms is a plus.
  • Familiarity with legal and regulatory frameworks governing pharmaceutical services and contracts.
