Job Description
Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma- Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm This position is based out of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center, but requires service to multiple different INTEGRIS Rural Hospital Locations Essential Functions of Employment with DLO: Show up for work, on time & prepared each and every scheduled work day Perform all tasks and processes assigned to you including all tasks and processes you are fully qualified to perform and all tasks and processing that you may be over-qualified to perform Maintain a positive and supportive attitude throughout each and every scheduled work day & work as a collaborative team member with your fellow teammates on a daily basis Responsible for monitoring and supporting Point of Care programs for INTEGRIS hospital facilities, assuring compliance with all CLIA, CAP and TJC requirements. Monitor nursing performance of Point of Care testing platforms. Perform POC Equipment QA measures including maintenance, troubleshooting, and validations. Coordinate management of POC computer systems, instrumentation, and reagent supplies. Capable of effective interaction with hospital administrative personnel and nursing staff at multiple clinical campus sites. Must have a positive attitude, maintaining professional conduct at all times. Must possess ability to work as a collaborative team member, with limited supervision as necessary. Responsibilities: High level of computer skill necessary. Requires excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to participate in projects with inter-organizational groups and ability to make independent decisions. Helpful for the applicant to possess a broad knowledge of testing performed as Point of Care and of the regulations governing POC, or a strong desire and ability to learn dynamics unique to POC environments. Previous lab experience required to ensure solid understanding of basic laboratory testing, including Quality Assurance initiatives. MT/MLS/MLT with a minimum of 1 year of lab experience. Point of Care experience is a plus. Qualifications: MT/MLS/MLT, ASCP w/ BS or Associates in Biological, Chemical, Physical, or Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills with ability to gain the cooperation of varied hospital department leadership representatives. Willingness to travel within Oklahoma as required to meet business needs of POC service delivery to INTEGRIS hospital and clinical campuses. Must be willing to travel to Integris Hospital Rural Campus sites within the state of Oklahoma; Fleet vehicle provided for travel to rural and serviced facilities. Physical and Mental Requirements:
