Aerospace Engineer The Opportunity: As an aerospace engineer, you know leading-edge technology, systems and analysis tools are critical to national defense. We need your skills in hypersonics, modeling, and flight dynamics to help develop creative solutions that directly impact the warfighter. As an aerospace engineer on our research and development team, you'll evaluate new technologies, perform risk assessments, and improve the development of intelligence-based analytical models and tools to characterize and analyze modern threat systems. Your experience in aerodynamics, mass properties, propulsion, guidance in the development of medium and high-fidelity models is key and makes you an integral part of delivering a client-focused solution. In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace technology. You'll learn from a large community of aerospace engineers across the company and collaborate with research engineers, software developers, clients, and end users to help deliver world-class solutions to characterizing of strategic threat systems, their variation and uncertainties, in the pursuit of advanced technical intelligence. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,300.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
