Position Summary

The Clinical Operations Admin Coordinator is responsible for a variety of activities in support of clinical research study preparation, recruitment, enrollment onto trial and patient safety. The Clinical Operations Admin Coordinator liaises with lead Clinical Research Coordinators to discuss study needs, challenges and accordingly plans for study adjustments; specific assigned duties may include source document preparation, screening physician schedules to identify eligible patients for trials, calling or receiving calls from patients about clinical trials, reviewing patient data for safety events and reporting as appropriate, etc. The Clinical Operations Admin Coordinator works independently and considers all aspects of Institution, Federal Drug Administration (FDA) and sponsor regulations pertaining to clinical research in human subjects (e.g., investigator financial disclosure requirements of the FDA).

Requirements

  • Bachelors' degree required preferably in science, healthcare or other related fields; Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the educational requirements
  • Minimum four (4) years of experience working as a clinical research coordinator in a healthcare setting
  • Certification as clinical research professional preferred
  • Familiar with and comfortable with research methodology and the "scientific method" for conducting research projects

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $34.46 - $49.60 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
