Join our dynamic team as a Senior Facilities Manager and become the strategic leader behind a thriving portfolio of 100+ facilities spanning the East and Central regions!

This role offers the perfect blend of on-site leadership, strategic travel, and some remote work. Our preferred location is Charlotte, NC, but we're also open to candidates near our offices in New York, NY, or Chicago, IL.

In this role, you'll orchestrate a talented team of facilities professionals while delivering exceptional service to our prestigious financial services client, balancing operational excellence with cost optimization to exceed performance benchmarks. Working closely with our Admin Facilities Management Director, you'll mentor rockstar Facilities Managers while driving innovation in Integrated Facilities Management services that directly impact thousands of professionals across our client's expansive office portfolio. Here is some of what you will do:

  • Provide leadership, vision, and guidance to the operations, maintenance, utility, and manufacturing support services functions (as appropriate).
  • Manage the performance and outcomes of assigned staff reporting to the position.
  • Maintain interface with third-party owners (Landlords), ensuring total contract (Lease) compliance, accurate and timely reporting, and resolving critical impact tenant relations issues.
  • Establish a "Safety First" culture on the site and improve safety performance by championing our level of awareness and changing all staff and partner safety behaviors.
  • Provide overall facility services in accordance with accounts' standard processes and procedures, including application of policies and programs, and coordination of information.
  • Ensure compliance with portfolio-wide initiatives and required local, state, and federal laws and regulations that pertain to the operation of facilities entrusted to the Facility Partners to manage on behalf of the client as owner.
  • Manage, coordinate, and exercise functional responsibility for Facility Management services within assigned facilities and geography.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage facility budgets with the clients' goals and objectives addressed, track variances, and ensure a smooth recovery process.
  • Support prompt collection of management fees and reimbursements from 3rd party tenants occupying space with the accounts' owned premises.
  • Responsible for overall team management, staff development, and planning.
  • Execute staff succession and growth plans.
  • Involved in the compensation planning process.
  • For every direct report, build actionable and measurable career development plans, and have consistent conversations regarding progress.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Here is who we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of facilities management experience managing Class-A office space AND a bachelor's degree or higher

OR

  • 9+ years of facilities management experience managing Class-A office space

AND

  • Strong leadership, relationship building, and interpersonal skills with excellent verbal/written communication, presentation abilities, and proven problem-solving expertise.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Knowledge of standard business and accounting practices.
  • Experience with Excel and the ability to analyze data.

Pay $132,000 - 156,000 with a 20% targeted bonus of the annual salary.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, day shift, with on-call required 24/7 for emergency response.

Estimated total compensation for this position:

132,000.00 - 156,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
