As the Digital Workplace Engineer with American Family Insurance you will collaborate to provide and maintain applications that meet our needs. Responsible for development for simple to moderately complex business solutions.

Position Compensation Range: $78,000.00 - $128,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates. Primary Accountabilities:
- Support the development, configuration, coding, testing, and administration of Microsoft 365 systems, providing end-user support.
- Contribute to the analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of enterprise-scale Microsoft applications.
- Optimize Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook, SharePoint) for performance and security.
- Participate in team activities and take on additional tasks to help achieve team goals.
- Create and maintain system documentation as required.
Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service
- Basic knowledge and understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.
- Demonstrated experience developing complex software/systems using one or more programming language.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting, modifying and writing application system design and program specifications.
- Demonstrated experience using and supporting integration and communications technologies between applications, databases and technology platforms.
- Demonstrated experience using relational databases and standard query language (SQL).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of systems development life cycle (SDLC).
- Solid knowledge and understanding of activities, tasks, tools and techniques for testing applications to ensure adherence to functional and quality requirements.
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of managing and maintaining Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive).
- Familiarity with applying patches and updates to Microsoft 365 to ensure security and system integrity.
- Provide end-user support through troubleshooting and technical assistance.
- Experience delivering customer-driven solutions and technical support.
- Understanding of integration and migration strategies and technologies.
- Knowledge of application architecture, design alternatives, and development standards.
