Summary:

The Talent Acquisition Manager of Talent Sourcing and Pipelines plays a pivotal role in ensuring future talent availability at Children's Hospital Colorado. This position is responsible for leading the creation of Children Hospital Colorado's talent pipeline strategy, enhancing the organization's talent sourcing strategy, building strong partnerships within the community and at local colleges/universities, and elevating our recruitment marketing and events initiatives.

Importantly, this leader manages day-to-day operations and oversight of their direct team, including an exceptional existing talent pipeline program - The Medical Career Collaborative (MC2). MC2 is a program designed for high-achieving, motivated high school students who are interested in pursuing careers in health or medicine, with the goal to help them build a strong foundation for future success.

This leader reports directly to the Director, Talent Acquisition and will partner closely with their peer Talent Acquisition leaders, to include our TA Manager over Recruitment and TA Manager over Operations, and their perspective teams. Additionally, this leader will work side by side with our HR Manager of Talent Management, who is leading the internal Talent Pathway design for the organization.

This role is ideal for an out of the box and innovative leader who thrives in building and executing strategic plans, with a strong sense of urgency, ownership, collaboration, political savvy and organizational buy-in. This role requires a background in pipeline and sourcing development, strong leadership skills through managing people, exceptional communication and change management skills and expertise in cross-functional collaboration. By embedding an effective strategic plan for talent pipelines and sourcing into the fabric of our overall Talent Acquisition strategy, this leader helps ensure that Children's Hospital Colorado remains a destination for top talent and a launchpad for meaningful careers.

Essential Functions:

  • Manages the design, implementation, maintenance and management of human resources policies and programs while ensuring consistency with best practices and organizational policies, standards, and procedures. Assists in the development of strategic human resources plans, goals, and objectives.
  • Leads team members in conducting research and analysis, developing solutions, planning, implementing, and resolving operational issues. Defines and maintains internal processes and procedures for functional area.
  • Develops and implements human resource communications and training initiatives for all levels of the organization.
  • Develops and maintains strong working relationships with clients, leadership, vendors, outsourced administrators, and providers.
  • Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, and rules to managers and team members and ensures legal compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Ensures team members and financial resources are utilized appropriately and shifts resources based on business needs within budget restraints.
  • Establishes performance metrics for team members.Assists team members in achieving performance standards and identifies opportunities for continuous growth.
  • Establishes and implements customer service standards for functional area; resolves operational and customer service issues, makes decisions that are inclusive of multiple perspectives and solves underlying problems.
  • Selects, trains, develops, and evaluates team members.Makes decisions on hiring, terminations, promotions, and disciplinary actions as required.
  • Participates in the development of budget recommendations for operating expenditures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications or a directly related field is preferred.

Experience - Five years of experience in designing and maintaining human resources policies and programs.

Previous grant writing experience is a plus.

Equivalency - In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, one year of professional experience will serve as an equivalency to one year of education.

Salary Information

Annual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $101,987.37 to $152,981.05

Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience.
