This role requires you to be onsite at least 4 days/week
Role Overview: The PIUS-MO Business Area Controller plays a vital role in supporting the financial management of the Product Inspection & Eagle organizations. This position partners closely with the Head of Finance, MO General Managers, and senior staff to oversee all financial aspects related to operations.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support budgeting, financial planning, and analysis processes
  • Ensure compliance with SOX, GAAP, and SEC rules
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and processes
  • Oversee financial reporting, including group reporting and management reports
  • Lead revenue recognition monitoring and accounting
  • Manage accounts receivable and working capital, focusing on MO inventory
  • Administer monthly employee and representative commission accruals and payments
  • Support audit activities, both internal and external
  • Utilize SAP, Hyperion, and Business Intelligence tools for financial reporting and analysis
  • Analyze financial trends related to order entry, sales, margins, expenses, and operating profit
  • Drive initiatives for cost control, margin improvement, and restructuring
  • Support acquisitions through valuation, due diligence, and integration efforts
  • Identify and implement finance team process improvements
  • Lead special projects as assigned by the Head of Finance and MO Management
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA with focus on Accounting/Finance or CPA preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in financial controlling within a multinational manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, manufacturing cost accounting, inventory control, and business process re-engineering
  • Proven experience with SAP, Hyperion, Microsoft Office (Excel advanced, Word, PowerPoint), and G/L software applications
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and change management skills, including managing direct reports
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and emotional intelligence skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to effectively engage senior management and across organizational levels
  • Experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and strategic decision support
