Utility Operator - 2nd Floor

JOB SUMMARY

Kemps has immediate job openings for well-versed machine operators to perform an array of functions including operating CIP system and cleaning all equipment in processing area; cleaning outside of all equipment, floors, pipes, pumps, control panels; reassemble and prepare equipment for processing; break & cool all products; running pH tests on cultured products and carrying out attending procedures; changing vats for packaging lines; filling totes; completing PASS sheets; and other duties as assigned.

OUR MACHINE OPERATOR FOR THIS POSITION MAKES:

SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday; 3:00PM - 11:00PM (8hrs)

• Basic math skills
• Must be willing to accept responsibility and follow procedures
• Must be able to learn and understand CIP system functions
• Must be willing to abide by all sanitary ethics in making products
• Must have good attendance record
• Must be willing to comply with all GMP's, sanitary rules and regulations.
• Must follow Kemps Safety rules and policies.
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings including drug, background and criminal checks
• Must be able to push, pull, stand, walk, climb, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to be able to work in a wet environment
• May have some exposure to dust, fumes and cleaning chemicals
• Must be willing to work flexible hours including overtime as required, occasional weekends and holidays
