Job Summary A New Product Development (NPD) Co-op contributes to taking product ideas from concept through prototyping and launch while learning cross-functional product development processes and tools. Job Description Responsibilities : Support project teams on concept definition, requirements gathering, and timeline tracking. Create and maintain portfolio documentation and reports. Participate in mandatory/gate review and cross-functional meetings with engineering, quality, operations, and marketing for process familiarization. Track KPIs and project status in the NPD portfolio management tool and prepare stakeholder updates. Create a visual dashboard for NPD Portfolio status updates to share among stakeholders. Qualifications: Enrollment in a relevant bachelor's program such as Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Product Design, or Business with product focus. Expected graduation within 6-12mons for co-op eligibility. Familiarity with product development lifecycle concepts, prototyping, testing, and documentation practices is preferred. Microsoft Office tools and Power BI are required. Project Management software (MS Project) is preferred (not expert level). Strong communication and teamwork skills and ability to work safely near development labs and pilot manufacturing equipment. Key Competencies Communication & Teamwork.
