Job Title: Scientist I Location: Richmond, VA Job Summary: Our client is looking for Scientist who will be responsible for running testing activities of materials and finished products used or produced to support Vapor Product Development initiatives. This role will be responsible to deliver accurate, timely, and quality test results, maintain laboratory equipment, and to provide technical support across the Vapor vertical. Job Responsibilities: Timely material and finished product testing while ensuring compliance to all regulatory requirements. Generate & review laboratory data for accuracy, adherence to lab procedures and completeness. Maintain the appropriate lab related documentation to align with the Food and Beverage Quality Requirements Manual and associated regulations. Participate on cross-functional technical teams in support of company projects. Maintain product/prototype inventory. Perform other duties as assigned. Top 3 skill sets: Attention to detail, with excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to conduct data analysis and reporting Laboratory management skills Educational Qualification: Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or closely related STEM field Experienced with Microsoft Office suite for communication and data entry. Great attention to detail with testing and data entry. Experience or familiarity with product development in a regulated industry, capable of assembling small scale products, and working with analytical tools Familiarity with quality systems such as GMP/GLP Ampcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
