UX Writer, Commerce This is a 12-month, full-time (40 hours/week), on-site contract role located in Culver City, CA. Summary We're looking for a UX Writer to craft thoughtful, user-centered experiences across digital commerce and subscription products. In this role, you'll shape how customers purchase, bundle, and engage with services by writing intuitive, clear, and inclusive interface copy that simplifies checkout experiences and supports new product offerings. Job Description In this role, you will create and refine interface copy for commerce and subscription experiences, helping users easily navigate purchasing and bundling options. You'll partner closely with product design, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure every piece of content enhances usability and aligns with brand voice and legal standards. This includes writing and editing microcopy for transactional flows, designing content systems, and ensuring copy reflects privacy, security, and accessibility best practices. You will also contribute to content strategy discussions, documentation, and style consistency across the broader UX team, supporting the team's overall success and user experience quality. Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience Background in UX, product content design, or related disciplines within tech or digital products Experience writing for commerce, checkout, or transactional systems preferred Additional Requirements This opportunity is located in Culver City, CA, and requires on-site work. The pay for this W-2 position is $80 per hour. This position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
