Hours: Flexible as long as they work 40 hours. 8am to 5pm is preferred. Contract: 3 to 6 months - could go longer or convert permanent Fully On-site at the Troy Location Overview of Responsibilities: Configures, customizes, and upgrades our client's real estate lending systems (Loan Origination System (LOS) and Servicer Systems) and assists with the management of ancillary systems and services that are integrated with mortgage lending systems. Oversees performance reporting and data analysis in support of the software systems used by all lending departments. Serves as mortgage lending systems subject matter expert and lead business liaison to Information Technology on matters relating to loan systems, enhancements, and process improvements. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Works closely with real estate lending leadership to evaluate business processes, data integrity, and compliance issues as they relate to the mortgage loan origination and servicing systems. Identifies and evaluates alternative options for new and existing lending process improvements and manages them through design, implementation, and support. - Oversees real estate-related business intelligence analytics, third party vendors, LOS, and affiliated services to ensure we are building, managing, and maintaining an efficient and effective environment and moving toward a more modern and digital mortgage experience. Scales up systems and software solutions for accelerated growth to keep pace with industry demands. - Maintains real estate lending systems including user profiles, business rules for data entry, workflow progression, regulatory compliance as specified in change requests submitted by the business partners, the loan document generation library, including building custom documents as needed and maintaining eFolder settings. - Responsible for monitoring and optimizing how the LOS platform is used, working with lines of business to create and execute the strategic development plan and monitoring how lines of business run sales and fulfillment operations on the LOS. - Collaborates with business users and IT teams in the design, development, and deployment of new or improved technology solutions and product offerings by translating business requirements into technical requirements for application development. Ensures timely problem resolution of open IS Work Orders, open Symitar cases, etc. - Works with loan operations team to identify required changes and support audit and compliance in review of active systems and process. Regularly reviews Ellie Mae published (mortgage lending) and regulatory system administration guidelines and best practices and applies them in practice to optimize system performance. - Responsible for lending reporting oversight i.e. data governance, integrity, validation. Works with business data users to develop dynamic reporting on an ad-hoc or scheduled basis, based on business needs (i.e. loan origination, loan production, compliance, mortgage rates, etc.). Facilitates, with IT's assistance, scheduled lending system reporting and process automation with efficiency impact. (i.e. yearend disclosures, daily/monthly balancing). - Cross trained to provide back-up support for other Lending Analysts supporting other lending systems. *Skills* lending, excel, attention to detail, Administrative skills, Clerical, Funding, Customer service, auto loans, administrative support, data entry, processing loans *Top Skills Details* lending,excel,attention to detail,Administrative skills *Additional Skills & Qualifications* MUST HAVE: - 3 to 5 years of Encompass advanced admin experience - creating and maintaining user profiles and loan level access for different personas (user setups) - intermediate to advanced skills in developing business rules - using dynamic data management tables and advanced workflows and automations Nice to Have: - direct or indirect lending experience - credit union or banking experience - Semitar or encompass experience *Experience Level* Entry Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
