Description About the Role As a Fraud Analyst, you'll play a key role in protecting customer assets by verifying the legitimacy of requests to change the funding source for high-yield accounts. You'll work behind the scenes, communicating with financial institutions to ensure that account changes are authorized and not fraudulent. Key Responsibilities * Review customer requests to change the funding bank account linked to their Plinqit savings account. * Contact the original funding bank to confirm whether the account has been closed, changed, or otherwise modified. * Reach out to the new bank to verify the legitimacy of the new account and ensure it belongs to the original account holder. * Assess and risk-rate each request based on verification results and other fraud indicators. * Determine whether the request is legitimate or potentially fraudulent (e.g., initiated by a fraudster attempting to redirect funds). * Document findings and escalate suspicious activity as needed Skills & Qualifications * 3+ years experience in fraud analysis, financial investigations, or banking operations. * Strong attention to detail and ability to assess risk. * Excellent communication skills for working with external banks. * Familiarity with high-yield savings products or fintech platforms is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
