Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely and accurate order delivery.
  • Inspect each dish for accuracy, presentation, and portion size before it leaves the kitchen.
  • Prioritize tickets/orders and keep track of multiple tables/orders at once.
  • Ensure food safety standards are maintained during handling and plating.
  • Communicate with servers about any changes, delays, or special requests.
  • Assist with garnishing and final touches on dishes when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized expo station


Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED


Preferred Experience:

  • Previous experience in a restaurant, preferably as an expeditor or in another kitchen/front-of-house role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and kitchen operations.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs if needed.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
