As the sole provider of a key general education component, the department is uniquely situated as the only department in the university through which all undergraduate students must matriculate. Essential Job Duties |
The Department of Health and Exercise Studies at North Carolina State University seeks applications for Lecturers to teach undergraduate physical activity courses (e.g., aerobics, water aerobics, high intensity interval training (
HIIT), functional movement, cycling, running, weight training, etc.). Responsibilities include teaching and grading one (1) credit-hour courses (primarily).
The position(s) are part-time; one-semester non-tenure-track appointments with possibility of renewal. Compensation is determined by the number of assigned credit hours. |

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience |
- Requires a master's degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.

Other Required Qualifications |
- Candidates must have expertise in teaching physical activity courses. Examples include: aerobics, water aerobics, high intensity interval training (HIIT), functional movement, cycling, running, weight training, etc.
