STV has an exciting opportunity for an ERP Manager to join our team and lead the ongoing development, optimization, and strategic direction of the company's enterprise ERP ecosystem, centered around Deltek Vantagepoint. Reporting to the IT Director of Business Systems, the ERP Manager will be responsible for ensuring the ERP environment and related financial systems effectively support the company's accounting, finance, and operations functions.

This position serves as the lead for ERP strategy, governance, and performance, overseeing the Deltek Vantagepoint, Deltek Vision, and Deltek Ajera platforms, as well as ERP systems introduced through future acquisitions. The ERP Manager will play a key role in driving consistency, data integrity, and operational efficiency across the enterprise by aligning system capabilities with business needs. This includes leading the team of ERP Analysts responsible for daily operations, system administration, and end-user support, while also guiding long-term improvement initiatives.

As a strategic and hands-on leader, the ERP Manager will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system integration. This role will bridge the gap between technology and business operations, ensuring that the ERP platform continues to evolve in support of organizational goals, financial transparency, and scalable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

ERP Strategy and Leadership

  • Serve as the enterprise ERP lead, providing direction for Deltek Vantagepoint and other financial and project management systems
  • Develop and execute an ERP roadmap that aligns with organizational goals and supports future growth, acquisitions, and process improvements
  • Partner with functional leaders in Accounting, Finance, Operations, and IT to identify business needs, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement
  • Oversee system governance, configuration standards, and documentation to maintain consistency and compliance across all ERP environments
  • Act as a liaison between IT and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment of system capabilities with business objectives
  • Lead the ERP Analysts team, setting priorities, providing guidance, mentoring, and fostering professional growth
  • Contribute to the annual IT budgeting process, providing input on licensing, maintenance, and enhancement costs for ERP systems
  • Define and track key ERP performance metrics and support audit, compliance, and cybersecurity initiatives related to ERP systems

System Management and Optimization

  • Manage system upgrades, integrations, and vendor relationships for all ERP and related platforms
  • Partner with IT infrastructure and security teams to ensure ERP systems are performant, secure, and compliant with company standards
  • Evaluate and recommend system enhancements, automation opportunities, and integration with other enterprise platforms (e.g., Workday, contract management, project filing and archival, Business Intelligence tools)
  • Lead or support the migration of legacy systems and onboarding of ERP platforms for acquired entities
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration, and change management records in accordance with IT governance practices
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested for ERP systems

Stakeholder and Vendor Collaboration

  • Coordinate with Deltek and third-party vendors for system support, licensing, and roadmap discussions
  • Work with business partners to improve reporting and analytics capabilities using tools like Power BI, SQL Reporting, and Fabric
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business strategy into ERP functionality and best practices

Technical Abilities

  • Strong understanding of Deltek Vantagepoint, Vision, and Ajera platforms, including configuration, security, and data management
  • Experience managing integrations between ERP and related systems (HRIS, financial, and project management applications)
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, data mapping, and workflow automation tools (e.g., SSIS, Power Automate)
  • Understanding of financial and project accounting concepts (GL, AP, AR, billing, time & expense, project setup)
  • Knowledge of cloud ERP environments, system upgrades, and API-based integrations
  • Experience in implementing or managing ERP enhancements, module rollouts, and user training programs
  • Ability to evaluate emerging ERP trends and technologies to inform the company's long-term application strategy

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in ERP systems management within the AEC industry
  • Demonstrated experience with Deltek Vantagepoint in a multi-office, professional services environment
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and manage full system lifecycles (requirements through implementation)
  • Strong vendor management, budgeting, and project management skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Experience:

  • Exposure to M&A system integrations and data migrations
  • Experience with financial reporting tools, such as Power BI, SSRS, or similar
  • Familiarity with Workday or other enterprise systems used in parallel with ERP
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and internal control frameworks related to financial systems
