Position Overview:

The Maintenance Control Technician will provide comprehensive support to the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts, technical documentation, and engineering data for hardware and software systems throughout the equipment lifecycle. This position ensures that all maintenance and technical documentation meet applicable standards, maintains configuration accuracy, and supports the readiness and sustainability of the program.


Key Responsibilities:

The Maintenance Control Technician will support the In-Service Engineering Agent (ISEA) in maintaining and updating maintenance concepts, documentation, and standards across all maintenance levels. Responsibilities include scheduling and performing preventive and corrective maintenance, ensuring compliance with Navy and DoD standards, and maintaining technical documentation such as repair standards, engineering drawings, test procedures, and Planned Maintenance System (PMS) data. The role also involves maintaining configuration control and supporting engineering change processes. The ideal candidate will verify maintenance accuracy, participate in audits and reviews, and ensure all maintenance and documentation meet lifecycle sustainment, configuration management, and quality assurance requirements.


Required Qualifications:


  • 3+ of experience in maintenance planning, technical documentation, or engineering data management within a DoD or defense systems environment.
  • Working knowledge of MIL-STD-961E, MIL-STD-31000A, and related DoD technical data standards.
  • Strong understanding of lifecycle maintenance support for hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent technical writing, documentation, and analytical skills.
