Position Overview:
The Senior Logistician provides comprehensive logistics and technical data support for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). The position supports the lifecycle sustainment of Naval programs through planning, documentation, training, and configuration management.
Key Responsibilities:
The Senior Logistician will support the team in developing and maintaining logistics milestone schedules using Microsoft Project to align with integration and program objectives. Responsibilities include managing Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Notices of Revision (NORs), and Technical Directives in CMPRO; maintaining logistics documentation such as Acquisition Logistics Support Plans, Maintenance Plans, and DMSMS Plans; and updating Maintenance Requirements Cards (MRCs) and Maintenance Index Pages (MIPs). The role also involves resolving supply chain issues, maintaining Safety and Technical Data Sheets, supporting Packaging, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) operations, and contributing to site surveys.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in DoD logistics or lifecycle sustainment support.
- Proficiency in CMPRO, Microsoft Project, and ILS documentation standards.
- Knowledge of SAE GEIA-STD-0007, MIL-HDBK-502A, and DoD 4160-series manuals.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
