Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and versatile individual to join our Truss Department as a Flex Team Member. This role is ideal for someone who is eager to learn, adaptable, and ready to grow their skills across various aspects of truss production. The ideal candidate is curious, asks questions, and thrives in a hands-on environment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Truss Assembly Support: Assist in building trusses and understanding the full assembly process.
  • Blueprint Reading: Learn to read and interpret construction and truss design prints accurately.
  • Table & Universal Setups: Perform setup tasks on various tables and universal stations to support production flow.
  • Saw Operations: Train on operating saws used in truss manufacturing, including safety and maintenance procedures.
  • Material Packaging: Learn how to properly package finished truss components and materials for delivery or storage.
  • Cross-Training: Participate in cross-training across multiple roles to support team flexibility and production efficiency.
  • Continuous Learning: Ask questions, seek feedback, and actively pursue knowledge to improve performance and understanding.
  • Safety & Quality: Follow all safety protocols and quality standards to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Entry level, no experience required.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders.
  • Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving.
  • Ability to clearly identify product from package labels.
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within the company.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude or interest in hands-on work.
  • Willingness to ask questions and seek guidance when needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is a plus but not required.
