Job Summary

The Web Publisher will have expertise in visual culture, digital file management, web design, and communications related to topics at the intersection of art, science, and humanities.

Essential Job Duties
  • Organize and facilitate activities to study and investigate topics at the intersection of visual art, culture, science, and humanities.
  • Assist in strategizing project execution.
  • Assist in analyzing visual and written products; diagnose effectiveness and research to develop alternative options.
  • Produce visual and written materials for research and presentation; participate in research activities and discussions.
  • Construct and maintain website pages.
  • Produce communications materials; process digital image files, draft correspondence, draft and copy/edit grant and exhibition submissions, and other written materials.
  • Maintain digital archives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
  • BFA or BA degree in Visual Art, Visual Culture, or Art History.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • BFA, MFA, PhD degree in visual art, visual culture, or commensurate experience of at least 8 years; specifically working with drawings, art research, and archives
  • Familiarity with the intersection of landscape and politics.

Hiring Range

$34.25 to $40.75 per hour

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
