Position Title: CNC Setup Machinist
Wage: $30.00-$35.00 + per hour based on experience Shift: 1st Hours: 6:30am-2:30pm Ready to take your CNC skills to the next level? QPS Employment Group is seeking a talented CNC Setup Machinist for a growing job shop in Ixonia, WI! If you can read G & M code and enjoy hands-on machining, this could be the perfect fit for you! CNC Setup Machinist Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Set up and operate CNC machines according to production requirements. - Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions. - Make program edits using G and M code to improve part quality or process efficiency. - Perform quality checks using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. - Troubleshoot setup and machining issues, maintaining optimal machine performance. - Work collaboratively with team members in a job shop environment to meet production goals.
