Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite for our client in Plattsburgh, NY. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Perform MIG welding on various metals to fabricate tooling components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
• Operate fabrication equipment including saws, grinders, and drill presses.
• Assemble tooling fixtures and jigs according to specifications.
• Inspect fabricated parts for accuracy and quality using measuring tools.
• Ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
• Identify and correct fabrication defects or inconsistencies.
• Maintain and repair existing tooling as needed.
• Perform routine maintenance on fabrication equipment.
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to understand tooling requirements.
• Communicate progress and issues clearly to supervisors and team members.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Suggest improvements to tooling designs and fabrication processes.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $55K - $70K / year

Hours: 40 hrs / Week (1^st shift)

Length: Temporary (6 months)
