HOW YOU WILL IMPACT OUR MISSION The Senior Business Development Partnership Manager develops, solicits, and closes corporate partnership deals, while establishing and nurturing partner relationships, that generate revenue for SDZWA. This position oversees a Senior Business Development Representative.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Pursue new partner relationships, including: building proposals, pitching/storytelling, negotiating and executing agreements.
• Oversee Senior Representative, coordinating inbound activation and sponsorship requests, and managing existing partners, including contract fulfillment.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on partner opportunities.
• Negotiate and execute renewals as warranted.
• Represent SDZWA at industry or external events.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is looking for a driven and strategic-minded Senior Business Development Partnership Manager to grow our partnership initiatives with national and global brands aligned with our mission.

JOB EXPERIENCE

• 3+ years of experience in national and/or global sponsorship sales, promotions or partnerships required.
• Experience in a zoo or theme park preferred.
• Experience in a not-for-profit organization preferred.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field required.
