Under the direction of the Senior Manager of Test and Support Engineering, the Senior Traffic Applications Engineer serves as a subject matter expert in traffic engineering, traffic operations, and detection technologies, leading testing and validation efforts for Econolite's traffic control and detection products. This role is responsible for testing advanced systems, analyzing complex customer applications, troubleshooting field issues, and ensuring products meet industry standards and operational requirements. This role will collaborate closely with development, product management, and systems engineering teams to influence product direction and feature implementation. With a strong background in traffic signal operations and detection system performance, the ideal candidate will also drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and application support, helping to shape the future of Econolite's traffic management and detection solutions. PRE-EMPLOYMENT COMPENSATION The base pay range for this full-time exempt position is $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year plus benefits. Pay ranges are determined by various factors, including role, experience, and location. The pay range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire base pay rates for this position. Within the range, actual individual compensation is determined by various factors, including location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Primarily an office-based role with occasional work in lab or field environments. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and travel to customer or company sites as needed.
