Your work will directly inform strategic product decisions, ensuring that solutions are user-centered, intuitive, and highly effective. By translating complex user needs into actionable insights, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of interactions and driving meaningful improvements for a wide audience.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct in-depth user research with a healthcare professional population.

* Travel on-site to gather direct user insights.

* Apply expertise in social science, design, and best practices to identify both tactical and programmatic research needs.

* Define testable hypotheses relevant to the business and design approaches to address general user experience and product marketing questions.

* Develop comprehensive research plans and recruitment criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.

* Execute diverse research methods including moderating interviews, usability studies, focus groups, contextual evaluations, diary studies, and survey design/programming, either directly or in collaboration with other research staff or vendors.

* Analyze and synthesize findings from various data sources, presenting clear, actionable implications to stakeholder audiences.

* Collaborate closely with product, design, and development teams to integrate research insights into high-quality, innovative designs.

* Act as a dedicated advocate for the user, leveraging competitive analysis and research findings to guide internal product evaluations and ensure a clear understanding of the end-user experience.

* Investigate and introduce new research technologies, processes, and methodologies to continuously enhance research capabilities.

Must-Have Qualifications:

* 5+ years of dedicated UX research experience; flexibility for strong candidates with less experience.

* Demonstrated expertise in discovery research.

* Exceptional presentation and communication skills, capable of translating complex research into actionable insights for diverse audiences.

* Proven project management abilities, capable of leading research initiatives from inception to completion.

* Proficiency in a wide array of usability methods for both remote and in-person research, including usability testing, surveys, card sorting, heuristic evaluation (formal and informal), cognitive walkthroughs, and participatory design/co-creation workshops.

* Ability to manage an entire research project lifecycle, including stakeholder goal elicitation, study design, screener development, recruiting management, test moderation, data analysis, and reporting.

* Strong capability to support multiple simultaneous projects and product teams effectively.

* High School Diploma or GED required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Cognitive Science, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science).

* Advanced degree in Cognitive Science, Statistics, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field.

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $54 to $60.53 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
