DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will assess individuals' psychological strengths and challenges through a variety of methods, including reviewing medical and social case histories, conducting personal interviews, and observing the individual's behavior, emotional state, and physical condition. Work involves selecting, administering, and interpreting a wide range of psychological tests to diagnose psychological disorders and develop treatment plans. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate in developing, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive treatment plans that align with established diagnoses and adhere to relevant regulations, policies, and clinical standards. You will also have the opportunity to utilize various psychological techniques to treat psychological disorders, aiming to modify behavior and improve individuals' adjustments. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday; weekends and holidays, 2nd and 3rd shift as needed.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Special Requirements:
- All employees must possess a valid license to practice psychology as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Psychology.
Other Requirements:
- PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- You must pass a background investigation.
- A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
- Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
