DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an Art Illustrator, you will have the opportunity to utilize your creative skills to produce a wide range of print and digital materials for an online catalog of products and services available through our CI program. You will be designing product catalogs, websites, and various graphics used on the website. You will also be responsible for capturing and retouching photos, as well as editing short-form videos. In addition, you will collaborate with our sales team and shop managers to create instructional videos and develop graphic materials to aid in sales and promotions. Through this role, you will not only showcase your design abilities but also support a meaningful program that benefits inmates and helps save tax dollars.

- Full-time employment, 40 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Mechanicsburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years as an Artist Illustrator I (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of progressively responsible art experience, including illustration preparation and general display and exhibits work; and two years of formal training in fine arts or design.
- Appropriate art experience may be substituted for the required training on a year-for-year basis.
Additional Requirements:
- Successful completion of basic training in Elizabethtown, PA is required.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirement:
- You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
