*Job Title:* Customer Order Administrator
*Location:* Cedar Rapids, IA (Hybrid - must be currently local) *Employment Type:* *Ongoing Contract* *Schedule:* Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (some flexibility available) *Citizenship Requirement:* U.S. Citizens only *Education Requirement:* High school diploma or equivalent required *Overview:* A leading aerospace and logistics organization is seeking a detail-oriented *Customer Order Administrator* to support its Sales Team. This role serves as the principal customer contact for all sales orders and provides essential administrative support across multiple departments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, customer-focused, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. *Please Note:* This is a *hybrid role*, but the *first 3 months are required on-site for training* - this is *non-negotiable*. Candidates *must currently reside within approximately 45 minutes of Cedar Rapids, IA*. *Primary Responsibilities:* * Create and manage sales orders based on established requirements. * Facilitate and monitor exchange orders, warranty requests, credits, and purchase requests. * Process administrative tasks related to the sale and credit of materials. * Collaborate with internal teams including sales, product line, repairs, finance, global trade, and purchasing. * Communicate with internal and external customers to resolve transactional issues. * Manage the general sales support inbox, ensuring timely routing and order processing. * Ensure compliance with Global Trade policies and DOC/DOS license requirements for exports. * Contribute to the development and implementation of cross-departmental procedures and processes. *Skills & Attributes:* * *Cooperation:* Works effectively within a team to achieve shared goals. * *Customer Service Orientation:* Applies core service techniques and follows proper procedures. * *Dependability:* Follows through on assignments and supports company policies. * *Detail Orientation:* Maintains accurate documentation and can report status at any time. * *Self-Development:* Engages in professional growth activities annually. * *Multitasking:* Thrives in a fast-paced environment and adapts to workflow interruptions. *Preferred Qualifications:* * Experience in order administration, customer service, or sales support. * Familiarity with global trade compliance and export documentation. * Strong communication and organizational skills. * Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
