We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Technician to join our team for a new hospital construction project in Long Island. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in installing and terminating cable systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. *Top Required Skills:* * *Cable Installation & Termination* * Proven experience pulling, routing, and terminating fiber optic and category cables * Familiarity with cable trays, ladders, and junction boxes * Ability to test and troubleshoot cable systems * *Blueprint Reading* * Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings * Understand symbols, scales, and layout plans for precise cable routing * *Certifications* * Valid *OSHA 30-Hour* certification * Valid *SST (Site Safety Training)* card per NYC Local Law 196 requirements2 *Secondary Skills - Nice to Have:* * Experience working in hospital or healthcare facility construction * Familiarity with conduit systems and cable labeling * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights * Project Scope:* * Installation of structured cabling systems in a hospital under active construction * Coordination with other trades and adherence to safety protocols * Compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations *Location:* Long Island, NY - Hospital New Construction Site *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
