Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Cable Installation Technician to join our team for a new hospital construction project in Long Island. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in installing and terminating cable systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards. Top Required Skills: * Cable Installation & Termination * Proven experience pulling, routing, and terminating fiber optic and category cables * Familiarity with cable trays, ladders, and junction boxes * Ability to test and troubleshoot cable systems * Blueprint Reading * Ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings * Understand symbols, scales, and layout plans for precise cable routing * Certifications * Valid OSHA 30-Hour certification * Valid SST (Site Safety Training) card per NYC Local Law 196 requirements2 Secondary Skills - Nice to Have: * Experience working in hospital or healthcare facility construction * Familiarity with conduit systems and cable labeling * Strong teamwork and communication skills * Ability to work in confined spaces or at heights * Project Scope:* * Installation of structured cabling systems in a hospital under active construction * Coordination with other trades and adherence to safety protocols * Compliance with NYC Department of Buildings regulations Location: Long Island, NY - Hospital New Construction Site Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
