Seasonal (Seasonal) JOB TITLE: Yurt Support/ Busser DIVISION: Food and Beverage REPORTS TO: Senior Manager of Village Dining LOCATION: Yurt Restaurant CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time/Seasonal/Hourly POSITION: Are you looking for an opportunity to become a valued team member in our restaurant with a breathtaking view of our mountain slopes? Solitude is looking for a server for our Yurt restaurant on mountain. This position would require wine knowledge and bar knowledge. Our dinner servers will also help guests get their snowshoes and hike up to the Yurt. We are looking for someone that is very charismatic, professional, and fun to help engage guests and deliver an "experience". The server will need excellent coordination and people skills to bring our expectation of great customer service to the next level during our guest's dining experience. The restaurant server is to sell the menu and place orders with the kitchen to ensure proper timing of delivery. Anticipate all guest's needs and provide prompt and friendly service. SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS: Exceptional organization and time management skills Demonstrates knowledge of customer service to execute Solitude's standards Ability and willingness to collaborate Communicate with strong verbal skills Must have great problem-solving skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Willing to work flexible work schedules that include holidays and weekends Ability to obtain and maintain current, valid state-required licenses and or certifications such as Food Handler's Certificate and Sips and Tips Capable of standing for extended periods of time and lifting up to 30 lbs. Capable of being out in winter weather and able to help haul restaurant items up to Yurt. JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist Servers and chef in anything needed. Be knowledgeable about the menu and be able to make recommendations and answer guests' questions Able to drive and transport guests when needed. Snowshoe at end of group and ensure everyone stays together safely Make cocktails, pour wine, tableside wine service, etc. Help the restaurant manager, kitchen staff, and other servers when needed and complete additional tasks as needed (i.e., shoveling patio) Close and clean the restaurant and prepare for food service the next day Bus tables and aid in service Bring down dishes and help with closing duties at the end of the night Perks of Working Here: Work & Play in the Mountains: Embrace the stunning Wasatch Mountains.
